This Saturday a group of us headed to the skate park again! It’s become one of my favorite places to go. I love connecting with kids around my age and to bring God and healing into the mix…Well, that’s just exciting!
There was a group of about 10 kids sitting at a picnic table, so we headed over there. We talked for a bit but then started asking any of them if they had pain in their bodies. One kid said he had an infection in his throat that was almost gone. Almost isn’t complete, so we asked him if we could pray for that to completely disappear! We prayed for him twice and asked him if he felt any warmth or tingling. He said he felt warmth and that the burning was gone!
After that we walked over to another kid in a different area. We asked him some of the same questions and he said that he didn’t have any pain, but he had gotten poison oak and that it was really itchy. We prayed for the itchiness to leave and he also said he felt some warmth and that the itchiness left!
Later on, we headed back to the picnic table. A couple more kids showed up and one of them had a blue shirt on, which was a word one of the leaders got. The leader walked over to him and asked if he had pain in the arches of his feet or in his ankle, which was another word of knowledge attached to the blue shirt word of knowledge. He said he had pain in his ankle so two of the leaders prayed for it. They also asked him if he felt warmth and tingly and he said he did. The leaders asked him to test it out to see if he was healed. He said he couldn’t land on it before, so they had him jump on it and he said there was no more pain!
Come on! Do you guys get how awesome that is?! God’s presence is showing up at the skate park to encounter all of these kids! That’s 11 healings there within the past 3 weeks! God wants to show these kids how real He is and how passionate He is for them. God is so, so good!
